    I've been trying to switch to more sustainable products and I found this toothbrush, loved how easy it was to order online. The design is awesome, it stands on its own so it doesnt need an icky toothbrush holder! The club membership is cheaper and so convenient, I get excited every time I get a new package from Mable. They deliver a new brush every three months, which is perfect timing and saves a trip to the shop to get one!

    Just a heads up

    Love my Mable tooth brush and taking my part in helping the oceans, but the first tooth brush I received after about a month the bamboo split and splintered my mouth and the second one an entire slot of bristles came out all over my mouth while I was brushing my teeth. Still love the product, just some minor occurrences.

    So Worth It

    I was hesitant, at first, to significantly increase how much we spend on toothbrushes, but I'm glad I did.

    We were already replacing our brushes every three months, and I always just get the cheapest option at the grocery store. But I'm also trying to get as much plastic out of our lives (especially out of our food/mouths) as possible. It's worth it.

    Our used brushes compost super fast. Our new ones show up faithfully every three months, and it's nice to have one less thing to have to remember. Not to mention, these look much nicer in our bathroom, and I was SUPER happy to get rid of the nasty cup that always held our brushes. ;)

    Excellent toothbrush

    These are really sleek new toothbrushes with a nice simple, modern design. The ability to stand on its own is a really neat feature that I never knew I was missing in other brushes... definitely comes in handy and helps keep things sanitary (not laying the toothbrush down on surfaces, etc.) I really like that the bamboo is not only sustainable, but anti-bacterial, too. The only thing that took me a while to get used to was the dryness of the wooden handle. I have weird texture/sensory sensitivities and the feeling of the dry wooden handle (even when I would wet it) was not my favorite. Im more used to it now though. I love these brushes and have gotten many inquiries from friends about where I got it, because of both the apparent eco-friendliness of it, and it just looks cool. I would definitely recommend MABLE and will be sticking with them for my toothbrushes.

    I will definately continue to use mable brush. It works just as well as a traditional toothbrush and i love that it is compostable. Its also great that it stands up.

    Brushing Bamboo

    We are a family of marine life lovers especially my son, who at 4 years old knew what he wanted to be, a marine biologist. This purchase was mainly for him because he wants to make sure marine life doesn't go extinct{his words}. We purchased 4 bamboo brushes and everyone is brushing happy with them.     What makes MABLE’s self-standing bamboo toothbrush different from a regular plastic toothbrush?

    Traditional toothbrushes are made from petroleum-based plastic. MABLE toothbrushes feature an FSC-certified bamboo handle that is 100% compostable (with bristles removed), plant-based nylon bristles derived from castor bean oil, and a unique self-standing design for less clutter and better hygiene. Each brush is ethically produced in an FDA-registered facility and quality-checked for safety.

    Is the bamboo handle compostable or biodegradable?

    Yes. The handle is made from 100% bamboo and certified USDA BioPreferred as 100% biobased. Remove the bristles first, then compost the bamboo handle. It typically breaks down in 4–6 months depending on compost conditions.

    Are the bristles compostable?

    No. Our bristles are made from nylon or plant-based nylon derived from castor bean oil. While plant-based nylon reduces reliance on fossil fuels, it is not compostable and should be removed before composting the bamboo handle.

    How long will a 2-pack last?

    Dentists recommend replacing your toothbrush every 3 months. A 2-pack provides one person with a six month supply.

    How often should I replace my toothbrush?
