Our refillable system pairs a durable stainless steel container with silk floss made from natural ingredients — ahimsa (peace) silk, plant-based candelilla wax, and a hint of peppermint for a smooth glide. MABLE started in 2016 with the three of us—Alexey, Gilmar, and Emma—looking for a creative outlet outside our 9–5s and a way to build something that actually made a positive impact.
We were frustrated by aisles full of plastic toothbrushes and knew there had to be a better way.
So, like many scrappy startups, we started MABLE out of a one-bedroom apartment—designing, packing, and shipping bamboo toothbrushes ourselves. It was simple: create everyday products that work well, look good, and leave less behind.
